the sound editer that comes with nero should be able to do this. NeroWav editor its called.. But I'm pretty sure you can export to mp3.

I did a "mix" of several songs a while ago and used Switch (Download button at top-"navbar") To convert the stuff to .WAV (I have found few programs which works with .MP3 directly)

Then you can use for example Kristal, which I find rather handy, with fades, overlapping, etc. just be sure to consult the manual, can save you hours by quick-commands  nod

Both these are freeware (i.e. the non-plus version of Switch) and I found them quite useful.

If you just want to stuff the MP3-files together in a row, without "trimming the edges", I think there could be easier solutions, though don't know of any...

btw, shouldn't this go under music or something?

There must be some WAV editors out there that support MP3, but if you can't find any (or don't want to spend hours finding and testing them) there are all sorts of audio file converter programs out there.

Just convert your MP3 files into WAV and then use a WAV editor to add them together.  I don't know which OS you use, but if you're using Windows, you can even use Sound Recorder to append/insert WAV files.  When you're done appending the files, just use the audio converter again to change your file back to MP3.

Sound Recorder has some basic editing and mixing features but you'll be better off with a proper WAV editor.

Doom9.net is a site specially set up for audio and video work.  It has many guides, links to programs (many free) and a forum for detailed questions.

You can get to it at either http://www.doom9.net/ or http://www.doom9.org/
