as i said in my first post, i would really like to contribute to this site. i know that there are some forums out there that have strict rules against posting to topics that are old. is this forum one of those places? i don't see anything in the forum rules that mentions this, so i would assume not but i don't want to step on any toes around here since i would like to be around for a long time without getting banned.
i have seen a lot of posts that i would like to comment on, but many of them are from 2006 or earlier...

General rule of thumb is don't gravedig if the topic's more than 2-3 months old.
