Post [IDEA] More detailed gamelists
I've noticed that you have removed the download link for many games like mortal kombat 4 and C&C gold, I guess thats because they are warez, how about removing the whole game from the database (along with cheats and screenshot)??

afterall those games are warez, and CGN is for abandonwares, and people visit it to download games

It's not just about the downloads--though many pathetic children seem to think it is.  CGN is about Classic Gaming and some wares games are still classics.  CGN provides info about those games and links to them where possible.  If CGN was here strictly for abandonware or AW, then the title of the place would be Abandonware Gaming Network.  Yes, we provide links to get full copies of AW because it is part of preserving the history of gaming.

Not sure if it would ever be implemented or not, but, perhaps mentioning on the game page itself why full download is not available would help to keep the peanut gallery quiet.

I've already put a comment in for most of the games recently removed telling why it's gone and in some places giving the company link to buy it.  Mostly 3D Realms games like Commander Keen, Duke Nukem, etc for that last bit.

Don't worry. I have been planning this for some time smile
