The ISO doesn't like multi-track disks (thus the audio track might be lost), BIN can include multi-track info and also contains the info about exact data location on the disk which makes it more accurate but slightly larger plus it can hold protection data. That's all because it is the exact binary copy of the disk where ISO 'just' contains files and folders and their hierarchy in a format ready to be written to a disk. CCD (*.img + *.sub + *.ccd) is a version of BIN format.
