What is the name of this game?

Hey everyone. I used to have a game for my PC back when I was 7 or 8, that was 10 years ago. I can't remember what it was called, but I do remember details of the game.

You were this character (human) that wore a spacesuit looking thing, and you got into these big robot machines (kind of look like MechScape monters..) I remember in one mission you had to lower a bridge (I remember that because it took me a week or so to beat that mission) The first few levels were played in a desert type landscape, and I think the robot was red and you had to defeat a blue one. Later levels were in a snowy frozen land... Also the person who "guided" you was a girl, she would tell you if you were way of course and things like that.

If anyone has any idea what the name of this game is, maybe it is Mechscape? But which one? Does this website have it? Any help would be great... thanks
