Postby Peugeot405SRi » Sat Jan 26, 2008 1:09 pm

You gonna have a lot of work to complete that list friend.

So let's give you a -(small)- helping hand:
Everything that runs in dosbox 0.72 will run in dosbox 0.72 whatever the platform is.
I'v' tested a lot of games on XP32, XP64, Vista32, Vista64, some Linux(32-64) and others ...
Dosbox runs on those platforms and it will run the comp games.
There can be a small problem on Vista (in fact on XP and Linux too) if you're on a restricted account, but that's easily solved with some very basic knowledge. Simply work in a folder where you have read/write access (Usually in your own folders).

Add some 1GB RAM on your config and that will be solved.
You lack a bit work memory to run demanding games through dosbox, believe me, a 2 GB RAM makes a world of difference in Vista.
Don't piss me off.

What you think? Of course, I thought it's obvious, 32 and 64, XP and Vista.

Sorry, my mistake, misread your post. Besides, could have been on friend's PC [o/t] Why so many OS's? if you have XP64, why XP32 and the same with Vista....[/ot] Actually, this being my own PC, I have full admin privileges....

Back again. I haven't forgotten this project but recently suffered a setback when an attempt to rescue old PC files failed (spectacularly). This means that games such as Caesar II that I had before are lost. Apologies, but I have updated the list on my homepage.

How much free time could you spend on this list, Peugeot405SRi?

I'm asking because of the Secret Masterplan...
