old game status

i've been on the site and many other for awhile, but i can't find just about any info on "ai wars : the awakening". the only info i can find is that it was not very popular game. i've looked all over the net. and haven't found any thing excpet a link to the underdogs. which links to the no longer updated homepage of the game. i've tried to contact the dev. team with no luck, and the buy link doesn't work ether. (there went $15 down the drain.( three times.)) i don't know if it's abandonware or not but if someone could tell me, even if it's just a buy link (on a page other than the dev. website.) i would be greatful. thank you.

Well it happened to me with a game called Dark Colony I don't know if you have ever played but at the end I found it, it's true AI Wars wasn't the greatest game and a lot of sites say it's not good but the demo exists you can download it still and if you don't like demos you could try in a download warez site(not so recomendable, they aren't legal)
