Most difficult game ever....

Two games that I just purchased today that I've always found to be difficult.. Metal Gear for the NES and Pokemon Puzzle League (especially on the later difficulties in 1P Mode).

Believe me when I say, you won't want to play against me in Tetris Attack. I only lose to people who have played with me constantly and who are truly skilled. Only one person has ever beaten me. On versus, we have exceeded 8 minutes in a single match before.

I always wanted to give Contra 4 a try; it's just hard to come by in Holland since it's not released there.

Another game I recently downloaded on the Wii is the new Megaman; part 9. Whoa...that game is hard...
I completed only one level thus far; Galaxy Man. And I got a shit, slow-firing weapon of him.

Then again, I've only played for about 31 minutes but if you look at the achievements... they are sick! "Completing the game in 60 minutes"?!! I know l334-language isn't allowed on this forum but...WTF!?

I wanna be the guy: the movie: the game (PC)
Prinny: Can I really be the hero dood? (PSP)

They're rage inducing, the first because the difficulty comes from completely ridiculous challenges and totally unexpected deaths.

Prinny because of the lack of air control, the button mashing required for bosses and all the cheap deaths.

Oh yeah, I completely forgot about those games. you need to be pixel perfect in a lot of jumps. It's utterly frustrating. Definately a hard game.

Some of them do yes, but bear in mind that a difficult game doesn't have to be a "bad" game. (Blood 1 on a difficulty setting higher than 1, anyone?)

Currently as the first thing can recall Contra III on SNES in addition to being long also being hard, I would have went nuts if there wasn't a save option on emulators, still, never got past some insect-like boss in the alien lair and as I played it a long time ago and lost my saves in the meanwhile, I don't really feel like playing it all again

Bionic Commando is a great game, it's just exceedingly difficult.

Haha, yeah I know what you're saying. Those shotgun or tommygun guys never miss, and your health dissapears extremely fast. Those were the times, now you can play most games on pretty high settings without too much effort. Maybe it's because we were used to play such hard games...

Doom on Nightmare.

just when you thought you just killed that cyberdemon... OH F---!

I could only beat doom 1 on nightmare once, and that was with luck, and determination. After that, I stopped playing Doom for 3 years, and started to play Duke Nukem 3d.

I'm not sure about this one, but here's one that I will never be able to beat on a hard diffuculty. Max Payne on Dead On Arrival. I always ask myself, did that guy with that beretta just kill me in two hits? WTF? And let's not forget those huge firefights in the game, those were impossible to beat on Dead On Arrival.
