Moto Racer On XP Problem

Ok, everybody knows how painful it is getting Moto Racer to run on XP
This is the typical problem

1.You install Moto Racer from classic gaming.net.
2.You try the game out on xp and all the graphics are messed up.
3.You try to install the patch but it says to install the game.
4.You try compatibility mode but that does not work either.

This is the most common problem. Is there any possible way of
getting it to work on XP? I'd be happy to play this classic

Did you install the patch of the game on first before you began playing? if you did, I suggest you reinstall the game, and run it before you patch it again. I'm going to try it on my laptop, so I can help you.

My Laptop specs:
ATI mobility raedon 7500 32MB of video memory
2GB of Ram
1.6 ghz Centrino Processor (or is it a D?)
that's all that's important.

Ok, I tried the CGN version of Moto Racer on my laptop. I tried everything that I posted on my last reply (sorry for double reply), and I did get the same problem. I tried lowering the hardware acelleration, and that didn't work. So, now I will try the CD version, (I happen to own a copy of this game), and if that works, then there might be a problem with the CGN verison. I will edit this message once I see if the CD verison works.

Also, it would help if you post your system specs too.

EDIT:

CD version after install with no patch installed worked perfectly. No corrupted graphics, it ran good. So, yes there is probably something wrong with the CGN version. I would still however install that patch.
