I have to say, in a past discussion I promissed I won't clean or tidy my room anymore... so they now are angry with me.

Cleaning your room isn't neccesary :P Just keep it a mess for long enough to drive your parents crazy and one day you will go to school and when you're back, voila, it's clean :P

It would be a lot of help to play my DOS games on the laptop, and my own computer is broken anyway so I am very happy and I hope my DOS games work on it when i get it!

Should work without a hitch, only problem you could run into is if it has no soundcard or its not Soundblaster compatible, then you may have to do without sound in the games, but they should play!

Personally i find its a great idea to have a laptop for your DOS gaming, afterall, who has the room for two desktop computers? but a desktop and a laptop will fit in anywhere nicely

I have :P I have 2 desktop pc's on my desk :P heh, but well, I only have one screen... I switch between the two, but I would have more than enought space to put another screen... I just don't have one and I don't want to buy one and I don't use them both at the same time anyway :P
2 Desktop pc's is mostly not that big an issue anyway, you could put them on top of eachother or just use a small case and put them directly next to eachother, use a KVM switch to need only 1 screen, keyboard and mouse for both, this way you can use one pc for modern stuff and one for old stuff, mostly you won't use them both at the same time, so this method could actually work.
The advantage of this is that the screen you use is probably of much higher quality than an old laptop screen. The "ghosting" effect on the laptop screen can actually kill the game. For the people who don't know what ghosting is, it's the blurry effect you get on of LCD/TFT screens when the picture is in motion.
I also have an old laptop (Pentium 75mhz), but the screen makes it quite useless for games allthough it runs the real oldies very well. Without sound however, it has no sound-card, but with an external screen connected to it, it would be quite usable.

I'm offering a Pentium 4 2.8 GHz laptop with 2gb of ram, 60gb hard drive and imbedded Intel graphics for $200. I just got this new Dell Mini 9, and just use the old laptop for storage these days, but I've been thinking about formatting my 320gb hard drive on my desktop computer since Win7 corrupted it, and using that as my primary storage device. Man, I have so many bad disc images now. I have two different copies of UT2004, and only one works...guess which one...it's hit or miss. Other games that just stopped working due to corruption and just so much trouble. I was DJing a while back, and pretty much all my music is on that drive. It's at least a few gigs. I'll keep you posted, but if you're interested in my laptop, I'll certainly try to speed things up. You can find the specs online. It's a Toshiba Satellite A45-S250, manufactured in March of 2004. Original price was around $1600... I know, that price is insane, but I'm selling it for $200. If you want a fresh install, or want me to keep it the way it is because there are several games on there, just let me know. If you want a list of games installed, I can go and write them all down.
